Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

Design and engineer mechanical components and documentation for power transformers, meeting customer specifications and project timelines.

What you'll do

• Prepare order-bound drawings and documents from customer requirements.
• Create and check layouts, customer drawings, fabrication drawings, and foundation details.
• Model transformers and fittings in Pro-E Wildfire.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, wiring details, gasket hardware lists, and SAP entries.
• Prepare manufacturing instructions, standard drawings, and specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, inspections, and customer technical discussions.
• Coordinate with service, manufacturing, and quality teams on site-related issues.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of industry experience.
• Experience in mechanical design of power transformers.
• BE or ME in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of 2-D and 3-D CAD software such as Creo or similar.
• Knowledge of Indian and international standards and codes, including DIN and ASME.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Details

• Full-time position in Maneja, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
• On-site role; remote work is not available.
• Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility.
