Overview

Design mechanical components and systems for instrument transformers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and supporting testing, manufacturing, and product industrialization.

What you'll do

• Evaluate customer specifications and mechanical requirements.
• Perform mechanical load calculations and support compliance evaluation.
• Lead test planning, execution, and customer homologation activities.
• Create and maintain drawings, QA plans, SOPs, and product data in PLM.
• Support manufacturing and suppliers with assembly, component, and design issues.
• Lead quality improvement, cost-saving, and new product industrialization tasks.
• Maintain component information and type-test reports in SAP and related systems.

What you'll need

• BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in instrument transformer design or high-voltage equipment product engineering.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills.
• Advanced Pro-E skills.
• Basic knowledge of SAP MM module.
• Knowledge of mechanical load calculations and manufacturing processes.
• 3D component modeling and electrical component manufacturing experience.

Details

• Full-time position.
• On-site role in Maneja, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
• Travel requirement: 10%.
