Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Mechanical Engineer for the Valves & Integrated Products Engineering team in Bangalore, working on advanced vacuum-based products.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, document, build, and test vacuum isolation valves, pressure control valves, and custom manifold solutions.
• Develop mechanical assemblies with machined/welded components, sealing solutions, and pneumatic/electrical/mechanical actuators.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Apply GD&T methodologies to support functionality, manufacturability, and quality.
• Support prototype builds, testing, data analysis, root-cause investigations, and design improvements.
• Produce engineering documentation and prepare/present technical updates to cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Experience working with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings (Autodesk Inventor, Creo, and/or SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T.
• Experience building and testing mechanical prototypes.
