Project Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer responsible for creating mechanical designs for low-voltage motors and supporting engineering activities in the Motion business.

What you'll do

• Create mechanical designs using 3D modeling and detailing.
• Incorporate GD&T and drawing codes and practices into designs.
• Prepare BOM in SAP for standard and non-standard motors.
• Ensure designs meet technical standards and customer requirements.
• Perform tolerance and mechanical stress analysis for designs and NPI support.
• Address manufacturing concerns related to mechanical designs and BOM.
• Provide feedback and solutions to project managers/engineers for customer needs.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience (preferably in LV Motors and induction motor design).
• Experience with PLM software: Teamcenter.
• 3D design experience using NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SAP, and other applicable software.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with high level of creativity.
