Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Mechanical Engineer role in Bangalore, responsible for analyzing mechanical problems, designing/me modifying mechanical layouts and tooling, and coordinating procurement, assembly, testing documentation, and manufacturing/installation related activities.

What you'll do

• Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
• Design or modify basic mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and drawings/specifications.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects.
• Identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues.
• Perform and document engineering test reports and generate alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems of moderate difficulty under general supervision.
• Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes as needed.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6-8 years of related experience.
• Experience processing and resolving mechanical problems.
• Ability to enable handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, and assemblies.

• Mechanical design.
• CAD software.
• GD&T.
• Sheet metal design.
• Tooling & fixture design.
• Material selection and manufacturing methods.
