Overview
Mechatronics Engineer role focused on designing and deploying robotic systems for autonomous maintenance and fault diagnostics in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
What you'll do
- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot applications on Lam robotic systems in a cross-functional team.
- Develop and validate computer vision pipelines for equipment inspection and AI-assisted path planning.
- Create robotic path programs and motion trajectories for safe navigation with precision and repeatability.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems for autonomous operation.
- Prototype, test, and iterate mechanical, electrical, and software components to improve performance and reliability.
- Conduct testing and validation procedures to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Produce engineering documentation, technical specifications, presentations, and data-driven reports.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of professional experience in domains including robotics, computer vision, path planning, control theory, sensor fusion, or deep learning.
- Expert-level programming skills in C++ and Python and strong OOP concepts.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ROS2 in complex or commercial projects.
- Proven experience developing and deploying large-scale robotics software from the ground up.
- Proficiency with Git or similar version control and modern software development workflows.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
