Sr Software Engineer - C++ , Python, Shell scripting & Azure/Cloud

Overview

Sr Software Engineer to analyze requirements, develop and maintain software, and support modernization of an existing Pricer application from legacy technologies to React JS/Spring Boot.

What you'll do

• Analyze business requirements for accuracy and completeness and assist in design.
• Develop and maintain relevant products and own one or more modules.
• Modernize the existing Pricer application from legacy technologies to React JS/Spring Boot.
• Work with customer-facing teams to translate requirements into software design.
• Analyze, debug, and fix customer issues and support field-reported queries.
• Address complex problems with cross-functional teams.
• Sustain existing features.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience in excellent C++ programming, design, problem solving, and debugging.
• Prior experience with software development on Windows and Linux.
• Strong understanding of the product development cycle and technical requirements.
• Strong record delivering software projects on time with high quality.
• Good oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong SQL experience, preferably Oracle.
• Working exposure on DevOps environment building CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting memory or connection leaks.
• Exposure to Agile methodology, Git, and JIRA.

Nice to have

• CLI development experience.
• Exposure to Azure and AI/ML concepts.
• Exposure to Python and shell scripting.

• Technical environment includes Java, C++, XSL, JSP, Spring Boot, Git, Hibernate, REST API, React JS, and Node JS.
