Overview
Media Designer - Apprentice contracted via the NATS portal to develop and refine textbook and study-material cover designs and related print-ready artwork.
What you'll do
- Develop retail textbook and institutional study material covers as per brand guidelines and creative briefs.
- Modify and finalize cover designs based on feedback from senior designers.
- Prepare print-ready artwork according to publishing and printing specifications.
- Edit images, graphics, and visual elements using CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop.
- Coordinate and maintain development files and project assets.
- Coordinate with Product, Editorial, Marketing, and Sales to understand cover design requirements.
- Assist with marketing collaterals and promotional creatives when required.
What you'll need
- Working knowledge of CorelDRAW (designing software) is required.
- Professional Diploma in Graphic Design or Multimedia from a recognized institute.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
- Understanding of design fundamentals including typography, colour theory, layout, and composition.
- Basic knowledge of print specifications, including page sizes, trim, bleed, and colour modes.
- Good visual sense with attention to detail.
- Ability to create simple illustrations, icons, and vector artwork.
- Willingness to learn publishing standards and incorporate feedback.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Details
- Must be within 3 years of graduating from a Bachelors degree.
- Must be able to commute to the Noida, India office.
- Must not have completed a NATS apprenticeship before.
- Contracted through the NATS portal once chosen.
