Member of Technical Staff - Lead Release Engineer (Production Engineering)

Overview

Lead Release Engineer role focused on owning the end-to-end release lifecycle for storage software and firmware, ensuring predictable release cadences and high quality.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end release process from development through GA for storage products.
• Design and build optimized CI/CD pipelines and tools for code management and merge operations.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact in release triage “war room” phases, analyzing logs and bug reports.
• Improve CI and release quality through cross-functional projects with engineers and TPMs.
• Continuously optimize the SDLC by identifying build-test-deploy bottlenecks and implementing automated gates.
• Participate in on-call rotations for CI and test-orchestration infrastructure and lead incident triage and mitigation.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in software engineering or DevOps.
• At least 3-5 years specifically in Release Management or Lead capacity.
• Expert knowledge of orchestration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and data analysis.
• Strong git and codeline management understanding with release-safe integration workflows.
