Overview

Development and Test Manager role leading software development, verification, and quality engineering for connected healthcare and regulated medical software.

What you'll do

• Define and continuously improve an integrated software development and test strategy aligned to roadmaps and release plans.
• Provide technical and people leadership across the complete product lifecycle from requirements through release and sustaining.
• Own delivery of cloud-native applications, REST and GraphQL APIs, user interfaces, microservices, and medical-device integrations.
• Set software engineering and test governance including estimation, reviews, traceability, defect management, quality metrics, and release-readiness.
• Ensure testing coverage (unit through release-level) is incorporated into CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates.
• Establish automation framework governance for reusable C# REST API and UI automation frameworks.
• Drive compliance and audit-ready recordkeeping for design controls, quality system requirements, cybersecurity expectations, and regulatory standards.

What you'll need

• B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / Electrical or related field.
• 12–18 years of experience across software engineering, development, testing, verification, quality, or performance engineering.
• At least 5 years leading multidisciplinary technical teams in a regulated or safety-critical environment.
• Experience managing the complete software development lifecycle including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, testing, release, and sustaining.
• Hands-on or technical leadership with C#/.NET, object-oriented design, design patterns, REST/GraphQL, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with functional and automation test strategy for REST APIs and end-to-end regression using Playwright, Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of regulated healthcare software standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, design controls, and cybersecurity expectations.
