ML Engineer/Scientist, AI Platform

Overview

ML Engineer/Scientist for Nightfall’s AI Platform team, building and enhancing AI models and the systems that run them for security products.

What you'll do

• Build and ship AI systems that power Nightfall security products.
• Use Python to analyze data, experiment with NLP/model architectures, fine-tune, and benchmark/monitor model accuracy.
• Build automation for automated training and deployment and support real-time inferencing.
• Use Go to build microservices for data ingestion and processing with streaming, distributed caching, and concurrency.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to turn ideas into live AI features.
• Participate in the team’s oncall rotation to drive operational excellence.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of industry experience plus a graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Rigorous coursework in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and Go (or C++ or Java) with solid Data Structures and Algorithms knowledge.
• Hands-on experience building deep learning models and deploying them to production at scale.
• Hands-on experience building agentic workflows.
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments.

• Work model: Hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) in the Bangalore office.
