Mobile App Developer (Remote)

Overview

Develop and maintain secure, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android for a healthcare group, working fully remotely.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and user-friendly cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Develop and support features such as prescription ordering, secure messaging, patient information access, and other healthcare-related digital services where required.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, payment systems, analytics tools, notifications, and other external services to support application functionality.
• Ensure mobile applications follow appropriate security, privacy, and healthcare regulatory requirements, including GDPR and, where applicable, HIPAA.
• Work closely with doctors, pharmacists, healthcare professionals, Product, Marketing, Design, and internal technical teams to understand requirements and refine app functionality.
• Identify and resolve bugs, conduct application testing, optimize performance, and continuously improve the user experience based on technical requirements and user feedback.
• Deploy and manage application updates through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring applications remain stable, secure, and up to date.
• Stay up to date with the latest mobile development technologies, trends, security practices, and industry standards to continuously improve the company's mobile applications.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Mobile App Development, with a strong track record of developing, deploying, and maintaining mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in Dart and Flutter, with a solid understanding of mobile application architecture and development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase and/or Supabase.
• Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party services, authentication systems, and other external integrations.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Bloc, or GetX.
• Experience implementing and managing push notifications.
• Proficient in Git.
• Strong understanding of secure authentication methods, including OAuth, biometrics, and secure handling of sensitive user and healthcare data.
• Advanced/Fluent English (both written and spoken) is mandatory for effective communication, technical documentation, and collaboration with global teams.
• Must be an Immediate Joiner.

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify.
• Experience with Kotlin.
• Prior experience in healthcare or telemedicine applications.
