MAUI(Xamarin) Developer

Overview

Design, build, enhance and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI (earlier Xamarin), with a focus on Android application development, in a hybrid role based in Noida.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
• Leverage extensive Android and iOS application development experience to build high-quality, scalable mobile solutions.
• Develop reusable UI components and implement responsive mobile interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, authentication services, push notifications and device capabilities.
• Work with the Android and iOS SDKs, application lifecycle, permissions, navigation, background services and device-specific functionality.
• Migrate or modernize existing Android applications to .NET MAUI where required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, compatibility and production issues.
• Perform unit testing, debugging and code reviews, and participate in CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers and backend developers in an Agile environment.
• Ensure applications meet quality, security, performance and usability standards.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions and continuous improvement of the mobile development process.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of overall software development experience, with significant experience in mobile application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET MAUI.
• Extensive Android and iOS application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Good knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, application lifecycle and Android architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP and API integration.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX, responsive layouts, navigation and device compatibility.
• Experience with Git and source-control practices.
• Experience with debugging, profiling, performance optimization and production issue resolution.
• Good understanding of mobile application security and secure API integration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MVVM, dependency injection, SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting or similar mobile services.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Experience publishing and managing applications through the Google Play Store.
• Exposure to iOS development and the Apple ecosystem.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Hybrid role: work from the Noida/Bengaluru office in a hybrid mode.
