Mobile Application Developer - AI Neobank App

Overview

Android engineer role building the native Android experience for KIRA’s AI Neobank app.

What you'll do

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
• Integrate backend APIs and keep mobile flows stable, secure, and reliable.
• Improve app performance, crash rate, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Use analytics and production issue learnings to improve the product.
• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences where they improve the user journey.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Experience shipping production Android apps.
• Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
• Knowledge of REST API integration and debugging production issues.
• Strong mobile UX and user flow understanding, including edge cases.
• Ability to execute fast with high ownership and attention to product quality.

• Remote role with candidates required to be based in Netherlands.
• Primary working language is English; strong English communication is required.
