Overview

Automotive Software Engineer role focused on model-based design for hand-coded components and functional unit testing in automotive embedded systems.

What you'll do

• Create and develop Simulink models for MBD-based software components.
• Produce detailed design and unit test specification documents from requirements and design.
• Develop and execute automated unit tests using TPT (Time Partition Testing) or the Simulink Test Framework.
• Run tests, debug issues, and analyze test results to improve quality and reliability.
• Maintain and enhance test frameworks and infrastructure for continuous integration and automated testing.
• Document test cases, results, and coverage metrics for verification and validation.
• Participate in code reviews, model inspections, and test strategy discussions.

What you'll need

• 2 to 4 years of working experience in software development and testing.
• Strong experience with Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Hands-on unit testing experience with TPT or Simulink Test in MIL/SIL environments.
• Familiarity with embedded/real-time software and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.).
• Understanding of software development life cycle and unit testing methodologies.
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Compliance knowledge for automotive standards such as ASPICE (SWE.3/SWE.4), ISO 26262, and MISRA where applicable.
