MS Engineer (L2)

Overview

Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) ensuring clients’ security infrastructures and systems stay operational. You handle incidents, tickets, changes, and escalation support while meeting SLA expectations.

What you'll do

• Monitor, identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems.
• Handle client requests/tickets with technical expertise within agreed SLA.
• Manage work queues, perform operational tasks, and update tickets with resolution actions.
• Log incidents promptly by identifying issues and errors early.
• Execute changes responsibly and ensure proper approvals.
• Work with automation teams to optimize and automate routine tasks.
• Assist L1 Security Engineers with triage and troubleshooting for initial escalations.

What you'll need

• Experience in managed services handling security infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow.
• Active listening skills including paraphrasing and probing to gather more information.
• Planning skills to anticipate and adjust to changing circumstances.
• Communication ability across different cultures and social groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or equivalent qualification or relevant work experience.
