National Field Service Business Developer

Overview

National Field Service Business Developer driving growth and commercial development of Cadence Technologies services in the U.S.

What you'll do

• Partner with Design Group leaders and Process Design engineers to identify service opportunities.
• Coordinate Lunch and Learns to educate professionals on Cadence services.
• Support process improvement projects at client sites to secure equipment orders.
• Provide weekly updates to the Director on leads and service-related sales activities.
• Track service sales activities in CRM and follow up on leads.
• Develop marketing materials for Cadence services with the Service Project Manager and marketing team.
• Recommend service solutions based on equipment and customer needs.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–10 years of technical sales experience in maintenance services, service plans, sanitary distributors, food & beverage manufacturing equipment, and/or mechanical equipment.
• Documented, measurable sales performance including consistent quota attainment/exceeding quota and closing new business.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and occasionally automation systems.
• Awareness of sanitation requirements and food safety standards.
• Ability to travel and manage a diverse national account portfolio.
• Strategic, consultative selling skills and strong communication to explain technical solutions.

Details

• Reports directly to the Director of Cadence Technologies.
• Travel estimated up to 80% nationally to customer facilities.
• Work location must be based in the United States; remote listed for USA.
