Network Engineer

Overview

Network Engineer role in Gurgaon for designing, operating, and troubleshooting low-latency trading network infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot low-latency network infrastructure for trading.
• Manage connectivity to stock exchanges, brokers, market-data providers, and ISPs.
• Build and maintain colocation infrastructure (routers, switches, Layer-1 devices, cabling, cross-connects).
• Configure and support Cisco Nexus, Arista, and similar platform devices.
• Design and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 networking (VLANs, VRFs, BGP, OSPF, multicast, routing, ACLs, QoS).
• Monitor and optimize latency, jitter, packet loss, congestion, and network performance.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience.
• Hands-on TCP/IP networking knowledge (Ethernet, ARP, VLAN, STP, LACP, VRF).
• Routing protocol knowledge including static routing, BGP, and OSPF.
• Multicast configuration experience including IGMPv2/IGMPv3 and PIM-SM.
• Knowledge of QoS, ACLs, and NAT.
• Good understanding of TCP and UDP behavior and market-data multicast.
• Understanding of optical networking and SFP/SFP+/QSFP optics with single-mode and multimode fiber.
