Network Engineer II - IN

Overview

Network Operations Engineer (Network Engineer II) providing network support to customers through troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident/escalation handling.

What you'll do

• Provide exceptional customer support via ticketing system and phone.
• Detect network events timely using monitoring tools.
• Mitigate DDoS attacks to protect customer and shared infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network events, documenting planned/unplanned events.
• Take ownership of level-appropriate requests and engineer escalations to resolution.
• Escalate issues to next-level engineers and vendors and coordinate with Incident Management as appropriate.
• Adhere to Change Management and Maintenance policy and participate in Root Cause Analysis.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of recent networking experience in a command-line oriented environment.
• At least 18 months handling configuration and problem resolution of OSPF and/or BGP.
• CCNP-level aptitude.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a customer service role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide precise solutions during high-pressure situations.
• Schedule flexibility to work a weekend day regularly and holidays as required by the business.
