Network Infrastructure and Automation Architect

Overview

A technical leadership role acting as the key link between Kyndryl and its clients, guiding stakeholders from project start to delivery, and designing and leading the implementation of network infrastructure solutions.

What you'll do

• Act as the subject matter expert for clients, consulting early and gathering inputs to understand their solution needs.
• Define what Kyndryl can deliver to meet the solution and design the best solution for the job.
• Serve as the tech leader for implementation, delivering the right product on time and within budget.
• Work across major cloud platforms and know when and how to call on other SMEs outside your area.
• Stakeholder interaction with clients, governance, project executives and vendors.

What you'll need

• Overall 10+ years of experience in the network domain.
• Solid understanding of Data Center systems, storage, networking and security, applications and databases.
• Understanding of systems and solutions architecture.
• Hands-on experience and learning with Data Center technologies, cloud software, and interoperability.
• Route/Switch: Cisco Nexus, Arista; BGP, MP-BGP, EIGRP, VXLAN, vPC.
• Load balancing: F5, Netscaler; TCP/IP, HTTP(S), TLS/SSL, DNS/DHCP/IPAM (InfoBlox, BlueCat), DNS, eDNS, DHCP.
• Automation: Ansible, Gluware, Python, YAML.
• Cisco ISE, Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, Meraki or Aruba.
• Design and implementation, documentation and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels.
• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE or F5 equivalent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
