Network Security Engineer

Overview

Design, operate, and improve enterprise network security across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role focuses on security engineering, incident response, automation, governance, and network resilience.

What you'll do

• Design and implement enterprise network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, secure web gateways, and access controls.
• Maintain firewall policies, security zones, NAT, routing, and access-control policies.
• Implement secure LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Internet, data-center, and cloud connectivity.
• Support network segmentation, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust, SASE, SSE, and ZTNA initiatives.
• Monitor security events, investigate suspicious activity, and respond to network security incidents.
• Automate provisioning, compliance, configuration, and operational processes.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and documentation and support audits, assessments, and change-management processes.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of experience in network engineering or network security engineering.
• Strong experience designing and implementing large-scale network security solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto, Cisco, and Check Point firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, Internet, data-center, SD-WAN, routing, and switching environments.
• Experience with AWS or Azure networking, cloud solutions, and network access control.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, and network automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and English presentation skills.
