Senior Manager, Software Developer

Overview

Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Fullstack) for network automation software systems, supporting communications network management and network services in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems for communications network management and network services.
• Build automation solutions for network management and self-service of network services.
• Develop and support automation solutions primarily in AWS.
• Develop and deploy Ansible playbooks and deliver solutions using CI/CD practices.
• Design and implement REST APIs and moderately complex applications/configurations for deployment.
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams to elicit requirements and define functional and non-functional needs.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, AWS, REST API, SQL/databases, and at least one programming language (TypeScript/Node/React, Java, Python, or .NET).
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions (or similar) and Terraform.
• Basic understanding of IP-based communication networks (routing, switching, firewalling, load-balancing, DNS).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including Git, Docker, infrastructure as code, observability, and CI/CD.
• At least basic understanding of Agile/Scrum, test-driven development, UX, and design thinking.
