Overview

Lead Software Engineer role focused on driving design, delivery, and quality of product initiatives within a team and product area.

What you'll do

• Identify opportunities for product, engineering, and process improvements.
• Lead technical design, implementation, and decision-making for complex initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership to guide architectural decisions, practices, and technical quality.
• Partner with Product, Design, and team leadership to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of important customer and business problems in the product area.
• Leverage AI-enabled engineering tools and workflows while maintaining security and trust.

What you'll need

• 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience at Senior Engineer level or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of modern engineering practices, architecture design, and product development lifecycles.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Strong professional experience developing software in Java.
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in cloud-native environments.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP-based systems and applications.
• Experience with React and modern front-end technologies.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
• Working from office 2–3x a week.
