Overview

Provide technical expertise to the sales team for GIS/PASS switchgear across 145 KV, 245 KV and 420 KV voltage levels for the GIS–PASS Factory in Savli - Vadodara, India.

What you'll do

• Read customer specifications and compliance reports according to customer requirements.
• Define milestone deliverables, including Base Design and BOM, according to project requirements.
• Prepare Electrical and Gas SLD, Plan and Section drawings for offers, tenders and customer specifications.
• Prepare 3D models of high-voltage GIS for various substation configurations.
• Prepare guaranteed technical particulars of GIS and HV equipment such as breakers, disconnectors and GIB for submission to customers.
• Execute the DtV Process during the Base Design phase.
• Prepare bills of materials (SD BOMs) and support the Sales team according to the Milestone database.
• Prepare technical documents.
• Participate in customer meetings as required.
• Participate actively in project review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
• Take responsibility for your own actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in primary design, preferably GIS Engineering.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE/IS standards.
• Hands-on experience with 3D tools such as ProE / CREO and AUTOCAD-3D.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office.
• Familiarity with international standards including IEC, EN and ANSI.
• Knowledge of the SAP system, MM module.
• Expertise in the GIS project execution process.
• Knowledge of MV/HV substation design.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
