Overview
Manager role at Veritas (Oliver Wyman) for Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM). Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex ETRM solutions for energy and commodity trading organizations.
What you'll do
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across trading, risk, operations, data, and technology.
- Drive ETRM implementation, upgrade, integration, migration, and optimization programs.
- Shape scalable solutions to address complex business and technology challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to convert challenges into practical solutions.
- Operate as a hands-on functional and technical consultant while leading teams.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of experience in the ETRM landscape.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, IT, Computer Science, technology, engineering, finance, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in ETRM consulting, implementation, application management, or commodity-trading technology.
- Functional knowledge across the trade lifecycle from deal capture through confirmations, settlements, and accounting.
- Strong consulting and problem-solving skills with stakeholder management and communication.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL, relational databases, ETRM data models, APIs/interfaces, batch processing, data migration, reporting, and configuration/customization.
Nice to have
- FRM, CFA, SCR, or equivalent professional certifications in risk, finance, or energy.
- Openlink Endur strongly preferred; RightAngle and Allegro exposure as additional platforms.
- Experience leading workstreams across at least 2 full-lifecycle ETRM implementations, upgrades, migrations, or major transformations.
