Overview

WM Risk Analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Operational Risk group, responsible for independent operational risk control testing and monitoring.

What you'll do

• Define and execute test scripts across Wealth Management functions.
• Target key controls that mitigate critical risks.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and support change activities.
• Support operational risk initiatives including issue/action plan tracking and incident management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support audit inquiry responses and targeted remediation.

What you'll need

• 0.6 to 2 years of financial services experience, preferably in operational risk disciplines.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a small team environment with coordination across stakeholders.
• Solid interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, emphasizing Excel and PowerPoint.
