Operations Coordinator I

Overview

The Screening Processing Coordinator is a part-time court runner role focused primarily on on-site Minnesota criminal court record research and accurate documentation. Fingerprint card processing and related administrative support are secondary/backup tasks.

What you'll do

• Conduct criminal court record research using public access resources at the assigned Minnesota courthouse.
• Review screening requests and prioritize work per established procedures and operational needs.
• Search court records using name variations and other identifying information as needed.
• Evaluate record matches and document applicable results and supporting information accurately.
• Complete/document requests when no applicable criminal records are found.
• Support fingerprint card preparation, distribution, collection, quality review, and consent tracking as staffing/volume require.
• Deliver fingerprint cards to the Minnesota BCA, track submissions/results, and update internal records.

What you'll need

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be located in the greater Minneapolis–St. Paul, Minnesota area.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel between courthouse, Minnesota office, and Minnesota BCA office required.
• Part-time schedule: Monday through Friday, five hours per day, within 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CST/CDT.
• Basic computer proficiency to enter data, scan documents, attach files, and update tracking/internal systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures consistently.
• Ability to handle confidential information and personally identifiable information with care.

Details

• Primary work location: Hennepin County Government Center, 300 South 6th St, Minneapolis, MN 55487.
• Approx. 80% of working time at the assigned Minnesota courthouse and the remainder split between Minnesota office and Minnesota BCA office based on operational needs.
