Operations Engineer

Overview

Lead enterprise IT Change Governance and operational control for global production systems, including Japan-region stakeholders. The role requires bilingual English and Japanese communication and ownership of high-risk production changes.

What you'll do

• Govern Normal, Standard, Expedited, and Emergency changes end to end.
• Review RFCs for risk, impact, rollback readiness, implementation quality, and compliance.
• Lead CAB/TAB meetings, risk discussions, scheduling decisions, and follow-ups.
• Conduct Post Implementation Reviews and support root-cause discussions for failed changes.
• Monitor SLA breaches, backlog, unauthorized changes, and failed changes.
• Deliver Change Management training and governance communications in English and Japanese.
• Publish governance dashboards, KPI metrics, and operational insights.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience in Change Management operations and governance.
• ITIL 4 certification and experience with ITIL 4 Change Enablement operations.
• Expertise in enterprise Change Governance and CAB/TAB leadership.
• Experience governing high-risk and critical production changes.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
• Business-level English and Japanese communication skills.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Change Management experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Power BI reporting or dashboard experience.
• Experience supporting global ITSM operations and service improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting Japanese clients or Japan-region IT operations.
