Overview
Provide functional and technical production support for Oracle Cloud Finance and Procurement modules, helping the user community deliver day-to-day work effectively and efficiently.
What you'll do
- Manage incidents, problems, and changes based on ITIL common practice.
- Facilitate Oracle upgrades.
- Test issues in lower environments.
- Work directly with the F&P key user community.
- Ensure efficiency in daily standups and retrospectives.
- Prioritize workload and deliver based on prioritization.
- Configure and develop solutions according to business requirements.
- Analyze and resolve production issues according to SLA.
- Maintain configuration workbooks and relevant documentation.
- Support and guide junior resources in resolving tickets and identifying root-cause analysis and proposed solutions.
- Monitor and report on regular production activities.
- Collaborate and communicate with the F&P Tech Lead, F&P Service Manager, Functional Solutions Manager, business users, and key users.
- Implement solutions as a member of the OOO Domain team to address business priorities, with a focus on improved EU experience, functionality, and efficiency.
- Work with Arcadis third-party vendors to assess and validate proposed solutions and/or create proposed solutions for incidents and problems.
- Participate in the Oracle Quarterly Update process with the Test Manager and KBUs to prepare and execute effective test scripts.
- Join Oracle support sessions to understand Oracle product development and improve business efficiency.
- Partner with other OEA Lanes, Teams, and OOO Domains to exceed business expectations.
- Develop Oracle SOPs and KBAs with the O&Q team.
- Review and test solutions related to third-party vendor applications.
- Deploy solutions in production.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge.
- 5+ years of proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Finance and Procurement professional.
- Experience in Oracle Finance and Procurement modules support.
- Experience supporting a production environment related to Oracle Cloud Finance and Procurement.
- Extensive business and application knowledge in Oracle Cloud Finance and Procurement modules, such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Tax, Cash Management, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Procurement.
- Proven experience in business-as-usual support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimum supervision.
- Ability to guide junior resources from the team.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end business processes and the ability to find solutions to meet business requirements.
- Technical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to review and challenge proposed solution designs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work and deliver based on SLA agreements.
- Ability to proactively identify potential issues.
- Good engagement with end users to solve issues effectively.
- Ability to help with the documentation process for overall application support.
- Ability to provide responses to functional and technical queries.
- Exposure to, or willingness to work in, shifts and/or weekend shifts/on-call support.
- Ability to build a professional relationship with key stakeholders and end users.
- Commitment to delivering what is best for the end-user community.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Finance Configuration/Development.
- Experience in managing incidents and problems.
- Oracle Cloud Certification.
- Experience designing and delivering changes and solutions in an Oracle landscape for a global organization.
- Experience with the Helix ticketing tool.
Details
- Location: Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines, or Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
- Work may involve shifts, weekend shifts, and/or on-call support.
