P&L Reconciliation and Analysis Analyst

Overview

P&L Reconciliation and Analysis Analyst supporting Point72’s P&L reconciliation and analysis team within Operations.

What you'll do

• Perform regular P&L reconciliations between front-office and back-office systems for firm global portfolios.
• Partner with Middle Office, Back Office, and Valuations teams to investigate and resolve P&L breaks across asset classes.
• Produce daily P&L variance reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Finalize portfolio manager P&L in front-office systems based on variance checks, calculations, and analyses.
• Respond to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers, traders, and investment services colleagues.
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy, control, speed, and efficiency.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in product control or operations at a hedge fund or investment bank.
• Knowledge of financial instruments including equity and derivatives.
• Previous experience with business intelligence tools or process automation.
• Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
