Packaged/SaaS App Engineering Lead

Overview

Own the design and continuous improvement of packaged or SaaS solutions, leading configuration, integration and release processes and setting platform standards for stability and performance.

What you'll do

• Take full ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based software solutions.
• Manage configuration, integration and deployment processes to ensure seamless delivery.
• Set and maintain platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance, balancing business requirements and vendor limitations.
• Act as SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and delivery.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to align project objectives.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Kubernetes.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes.
• Experience with container orchestration and management in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of deployment automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize distributed systems for performance and reliability.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices within containerized environments.
