Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Overview

Lead the design, development, customization, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Service Portal solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise across the complete portal design and implementation lifecycle while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, performant, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.

What you'll do

• Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to adapt features, manage releases, and ensure system stability.
• Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.
• Lead the design, development, customization, and enhancement of Service Portal solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Act as an SME and collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth of junior team members.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience.
• 15 years full time education.
• ServiceNow proficiency.
• Strong experience as a Service Portal Senior Developer.
• Experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and integration capabilities.
• Ability to develop and maintain workflows, business rules, and client scripts within ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with APIs and low-code development environments to extend application functionality.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
