Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer

Overview

Configure and support packaged or SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements, manage features and releases, and ensure system stability and performance.

What you'll do

• Act as SME and collaborate with and manage the team to perform, taking responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize application configurations and streamline release management processes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Work with tools, APIs and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.
• Manage cloud-based deployment and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Monitor application health and manage monitoring and remediation through the Defender portal.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with IaC tools and Bicep.
• Experience with Python/PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Defender portal and monitoring/remediation.

Nice to have

• Logic Apps knowledge.
• Cross-tenant security and incident handling.
• Networking and ITIL.
