Application Engineer II

Overview

Support security system design and estimation for UK & Ireland presales projects as an Application Engineer.

What you'll do

• Design security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm, Intercom).
• Prepare BOQ and cost estimations.
• Lead complex security jobs, including Data centers.
• Handle multiple designers involved in a job.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of designs and estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to clarify requirements.
• Maintain quality and minimise rework.
• Conduct quality checks of personal work and team deliverables to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

What you'll need

• Experience in security system design and estimation.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience required.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
