Application Engineer

Overview

Application Engineer responsible for protection relay settings, configuration, validation, testing, commissioning, and application checks for electrical protection systems.

What you'll do

• Calculate relay settings for lines, transformers, bus couplers, busbars, generators, and motors.
• Perform overcurrent and earth-fault calculation and coordination.
• Configure IEDs using PCM600, DIGSI, Agile Studio, Easergy Studio, and similar tools.
• Analyze faults using Wavein or Sigra.
• Review schematic drawings.
• Validate configurations and perform application checks for functions.
• Train internal and external customers on protection systems.

What you'll need

• BE or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in control and relay panel commissioning, testing, or application.
• Experience with overcurrent and earth-fault calculation and coordination.
• Experience with IED configuration tools.
• Experience with fault analysis tools.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
