Packet core Engineer

Overview

Packet Core Engineer providing on-site customer support for installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment and systems.

What you'll do

• Perform on-site installation of complex equipment and systems.
• Oversee diagnoses, troubleshooting, service and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Check out and approve the operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Interpret customers' needs and clarify whether problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.
• Support any aspect of field support, including system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking.

What you'll need

• Expertise in 4G EPC and 5G Core technologies, including GTP, Diameter, TCP/IP, and call flow analysis.
• Skilled in troubleshooting network issues using Wireshark, Linux, and packet trace analysis.
• Experience in incident management and RCA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of virtualization, cloud-native platforms (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation using Python.
