Paralegal – Insurance Defense (Remote – Pennsylvania)

Overview

Support attorneys on insurance defense litigation involving bodily injury and third-party liability claims. Manage litigation activities from file inception through trial, arbitration, or mediation.

What you'll do

• Manage litigation files from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, file, and serve pleadings, motions, and litigation documents.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses and coordinate document production.
• Review, organize, summarize, and maintain medical and billing records.
• Coordinate clients, providers, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, depositions, and IMEs.
• Prepare exhibits, case summaries, witness files, and hearing or trial materials.
• Monitor deadlines, court requirements, filings, and litigation calendars.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of paralegal experience.
• Experience with pleadings, discovery, motions, court filings, and trial preparation.
• Experience drafting discovery and motion-related documents.
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records.
• Experience managing high-volume caseloads and multiple deadlines.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Applicable Pennsylvania paralegal certification, registration, or licensure.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance defense, bodily injury, or civil litigation.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania litigation practices and electronic court filing systems.

• Fully remote role in the USA - PA market.
• Compensation is $28.03–$42.99 per hour.
