FSP Sr Contract Specialist

Overview

Senior Site Contract Specialist responsible for preparing, negotiating, finalizing, and overseeing investigator contracts with study sites. The role also supports risk analysis, site activation timelines, process compliance, and mentoring of junior staff.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites.
• Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters.
• Assess legal, financial, and operational risks and escalate issues when required.
• Coordinate contract activities with internal teams and site-startup timelines.
• Track and report contract activity and cycle times.
• Provide training, mentoring, and feedback to junior staff.
• Participate in process improvement, quality reviews, and contract-related projects.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of comparable experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualification.
• Detailed understanding of contract law and related business, intellectual property, tax, and stamp laws.
• Ability to negotiate investigator grant budgets and contracts effectively.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Working knowledge of PPD SOPs, WPDs, and computerized applications.
