Patch Management Governance & Reporting Support, AS

Overview

Support the Patch Management governance and reporting function for GTI, enabling technology units to meet Patch Management KOD requirements and KPIs through accurate reporting, robust governance and sustainable controls.

What you'll do

• Assist technology units to be compliant with the Patch Management KOD and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with technology units to ensure accurate, complete and consistent patch reporting is established, sustained and timely provided.
• Establish and operate new governance procedures and controls.
• Establish and be involved in the effective and consistent operation of new and enhanced sustainable patch management governance processes, solutions and capabilities.
• Own and/or participate extensively in audit remediation and compliance activities relating to robust governance of the Patch Management process, including identifying and establishing new or enhanced KPIs and IT risk/senior management reporting, establishing governance capabilities and associated reporting, onboarding technologies into the reporting and governance services of the centralized GTI Patch Management function, and creating new or enhanced patch management standards and guidelines.
• Maintain working instruction documentation and user training materials, identify update requirements and ensure updates are agreed and applied.

What you'll need

• Experience working in large scale technology programs or operations teams with a range of stakeholders simultaneously with limited supervision and guidance.
• Experience in undertaking risk management activities, e.g. operating/performing control governance duties and identifying new risks.
• Knowledge of IT project methodologies and life cycles (Information Technology Infrastructure Library and software development life cycle).
• Awareness of Vulnerability Management processes.
• Very good understanding of patch management and a broad technical understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and how they operate, especially regarding how patches are managed and applied.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows to solve business problems, applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
