PD Manager -Bedding

Overview

PD Manager (Factory-Based) for Bedding is a hands-on, on-site product development execution role within Quince’s vendor ecosystem. The role coordinates development progress, accelerates sampling and approvals, and ensures documentation and testing requirements are met to hit milestones.

What you'll do

• Own and manage the day-to-day product development timeline across new products, extensions, vendor transitions, and refreshes.
• Coordinate cross-functionally across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and vendors.
• Ensure accurate and complete product documentation is ready prior to vendor handoff.
• Coordinate and track sample requests, shipments, inbound reviews, fit requests, and revisions.
• Facilitate product reviews and approvals, tracking testing requests and communicating outcomes.
• Run in-person in-country development trips to resolve issues at the source and accelerate decision-making.
• Support production and launch readiness by coordinating materials staging and photo sample delivery to Creative.

What you'll need

• More than 8 years in product development or factory-facing roles.
• Strong category expertise.
• Strong experience working directly with factories and sample rooms.
• Ability to operate independently while on-site.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused approach.
• Clear communication across language, cultural, and functional boundaries.

Details

• Factory-based role with heavy travel and consistent presence at vendor sites.
• Up to 4 days per week on-site at factories.
• Regions depend on the vendor base; travel is ongoing and embedded.
• Not suited for remote or primarily office-based candidates.
