Field Application Engineer

Overview

Field Application Engineer for Allegro’s Indian Sales team in Bengaluru, providing local technical support to South region customers.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support to existing customers and distributors.
• Collaborate with FAEs, marketing, and product application teams to identify and communicate new technical requirements from customer feedback.
• Provide technical product training to the sales organization and franchised distribution network.
• Support design-in and technical closure activities with product and system engineering teams.
• Assist customers and distributor partners in developing electronic systems.
• Develop technical and commercial solutions, manage potential problem areas, and maintain customer relationships.
• Assist in responses to RFQs and share customer feedback with Strategic Marketing and System Engineering.

What you'll need

• Degree in Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of working experience in Electronic/Automotive Industries.
• Experience as FAE in the semiconductor industry is mentioned as an advantage.
• Good communication skills for high-impact technical presentations.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimum instructions.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.
• Frequent local and international travel.
