PDE CEM Engineer

Overview

As a PDE CEM Snr/Staff Process Development Engineer, you will own development and optimization of packaging assembly processes for high-volume manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Own Process of Record (POR), process windows, and capability (CPK).
• Drive new product introduction (NPI) qualification with first-pass success.
• Define process specifications including parameters, tool setup, conditions, and tolerances.
• Apply DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma to characterize and optimize processes.
• Lead RCA, FMEA, OCAP, and structured problem resolution to improve yield and reliability.
• Use AI/ML, analytics, MES, equipment, and yield data for predictive control and early excursion detection.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in semiconductor process development/backend assembly.
• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Electrical Engineering.
• Expertise in assembly processes and packaging integration.
• Experience with DOE, SPC, FMEA, RCA, and Six Sigma.
• Statistical analysis experience (JMP or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of data analytics/machine learning fundamentals.
• Python or SQL/analytics tools exposure (preferred).
