Performance Engineer

Overview

Investigate and resolve complex performance issues that the in-house performance testing team has not been able to identify, working as a subject matter expert across the software development lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert in performance engineering.
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Document findings and share knowledge to support continuous learning within the team.
• Assist junior team members with guidance and support in performance-related tasks.
• Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture principles.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and interpret capacity planning data to forecast system needs.
• Skilled in application performance management and problem resolution techniques.
• Familiarity with diagnosing complex system issues and implementing effective solutions.
