What you'll do

• Record patient interactions and update case notes in pharmacy systems.
• Process prior authorization requests and track their status.
• Verify insurance coverage and document coverage details.
• Support financial assistance enrollment and submit copay applications.
• Coordinate specialty pharmacy referrals and schedule patient calls.
• Respond to routine patient inquiries and escalate complex issues.
• Follow up with payers on pending authorizations and notify senior staff of delays or denials.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of experience in pharmacy support, prior authorization processing, insurance verification, or healthcare administration.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• HIPAA or applicable compliance training.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, pharmacy technology, or a related field.
