Piping Stress Engineer

Overview

Perform piping stress analysis for offshore oil and gas facilities, including wellhead, fixed, process, tie-in platforms and FPSO projects.

What you'll do

• Perform stress analysis for offshore piping systems.
• Calculate loading conditions for piping systems.
• Issue approved stress isometrics for critical lines.
• Prepare stress calculations and nozzle-load summaries.
• Prepare stress analysis reports with calculations and system information.
• Verify piping, supports and special piping items against applicable codes and standards.
• Provide plant-layout comments and loads to other disciplines.

What you'll need

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience as a technical professional.
• Experience with piping stress analysis for offshore platforms or FPSO projects.
• Knowledge of applicable ASME codes and industry standards.
• Ability to handle projects with multicentre execution.
• Good communication skills.
