Overview
Lead technical execution of new product development programs for complex generator and power generation systems. Own system integration, design maturity, technical decisions, and on-time delivery.
What you'll do
- Lead architecture, design, and integration of mechanical and electrical generator systems.
- Translate customer, regulatory, and business needs into system and component requirements.
- Design, test, and integrate components and assemblies.
- Drive design reviews, risk identification, and technical decision-making.
- Develop and evaluate testing, product specifications, and process validation plans.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for development and production issues.
- Mentor engineers and support engineering standards, SAP, BOM, and change processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of progressive engineering experience in complex electromechanical product development.
- Experience with generator or power generation products and system-level integration.
- Experience leading generator or power generation development programs.
- Experience leading small to medium cross-functional teams through milestones and launches.
- Proficiency with Creo CAD/CAE tools.
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience writing system standards, design guidelines, and engineering procedures.
