Platform Engineer – Cloud & Observability

Overview

Platform Engineer focused on Cloud (GCP) and Observability for the enterprise platform that supports engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Define and implement observability standards (metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, Golden Signals, SLIs, SLOs).
• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, reliable platform services on GCP and Kubernetes/GKE.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities and self-service solutions to improve developer experience.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automate using Python/Shell.
• Support application delivery using ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Use observability data to troubleshoot production issues and identify reliability/performance/capacity risks.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Observability Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on GCP and cloud architecture experience.
• Kubernetes/GKE and cloud-native platforms experience.
• Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on implementation/operation of a modern observability platform (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus/Grafana).
