Platform Engineer

Overview

Platform Engineer on the Wealth Team, responsible for deploying and managing investment applications under high Cloud Ops standards, bridging software development and operations with a focus on resilience, availability and scalability.

What you'll do

• Ensure the availability and reliability of the managed hosting service provided to customers.
• Ensure the solution always runs in a compliant, secure and cost-effective way.
• Participate in the on-call pool and help ensure maximum reliability, high availability and uptime.
• Help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring resilience, availability and scalability within the Wealth Domain.
• Contribute to increasing operational efficiency and help bring overall cloud cost under control.

What you'll need

• Proficiency with Helm Charts, Kubernetes, Istio, ArgoCD and GitHub/GHA.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure security, cloud-native technologies and desired state configuration.
• Strong communication skills to drive initiatives and decisions inside and outside your team.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering, including at least 3 years working with the aforementioned technologies.
• Ability to combine technical excellence with mentorship, providing peers with hands-on guidance and collaborative problem-solving.
• Automation-first mindset; not content with manual processes and aims to make every process predictable and automated.
• Knowledge of designing and implementing scalable, highly-available cloud infrastructure.
• Good English communication skills to collaborate with international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and observability, particularly the Grafana stack and OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
• Knowledge of the Python stack.
