Platform Engineer - Observability

Overview

Build and operate reproducible platform infrastructure, with a focus on observability, container platforms, automation, security, and agentic AI solutions.

What you'll do

• Provision and change infrastructure exclusively as code.
• Reverse engineer inherited applications and infrastructure, including dependencies and data flows.
• Design, build, evaluate, and harden agentic AI solutions for platform and operations work.
• Implement least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code, and audit controls.
• Engineer and manage OpenTelemetry observability for application performance.
• Deploy and manage Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Container Apps.
• Troubleshoot container issues and participate in root cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Experience building and operating infrastructure through code.
• Knowledge of application, infrastructure, dependency, and data-flow analysis.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry observability solutions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Container Apps.
• Ability to troubleshoot container health and performance issues.
• High-speed broadband of at least 50 Mbps with a wired home-network connection.
