Power BI - Business Support Administrator

Overview

Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data models that turn complex data into business insights for stakeholders in the Business Analytics team.

What you'll do

• Design, build and deploy visually appealing, intuitive and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Develop scalable data models (star/snowflake schemas) and write advanced, optimized DAX queries, calculated columns and measures.
• Connect to diverse data sources, clean, shape and transform complex datasets using Power Query and M language.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports and underlying data models for high-speed performance and fast refresh rates.
• Gather business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, row-level security (RLS), apps and scheduled data refreshes.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of dedicated experience developing enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language).
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling (star schema) and ETL processes.
• Solid command of SQL for querying, data validation, and writing complex joins or views.
